Granada Hills Baptist School exists to exalt God, to educate children, and to encourage them and their families to follow Jesus Christ.
School History
The leadership of Granada Hills Baptist Church founded in 1954 was committed to Christian education and established the school as a ministry the same year. It is a school that embraces diversity and focuses on unity. GHBS is open to all who wish to attend, agree with and adhere to its policies, and meet academic qualifications. The school’s immediate supervision and its basic policies are determined by the School Board, which is elected for that purpose by the church membership, and carried out by the school administrator.
It is our belief that when God gives you children, He also gives you the responsibility for their education. We are here to help you in that with trained and experienced staff, accelerated academic curriculum and Biblical teaching in a safe Christian environment.
